I for one will sit and watch you make coffee all day. 😂😂 I totally enjoy your channel-Nursing AND personal content. It’s just so nice and refreshing to see an intelligent classy professional Jamaican woman. And life isn’t one dimensional. I found you with the nursing content- yes- but as we move along in life focus changes- we have struggles and triumphs, family and friends, shopping and caring for the home, keeping marriage fresh, travel, health, money, etc. And many of us are here for that cuz we have the same things/situations going on and it’s just relatable content. Missed you and glad to see u back.

Laurie, ive been wondering what happened. Anyhoo, im burnt out as a np, love some of my pts others are a constant pain. And im being bogged down with way too much admin stuff. Ive decided if i don't find something with suitable work life balance, im just gonna jump ship and do something else. I just can't anymore! Haven't walked yet because im a single mom with child in college but im exploring all options. These ppl are just too much

I am always so excited to see you post. I wish we were friends in real life lol because what are we going to do with these RN and NP degrees? Lol I secretly be hoping you figure OUR career paths out because am tired 😪. Lol 😆 we’ve done similar paths, RN, NP, back to RN, back to NP in a UC, frustrated with healthcare altogether, etc.

I’ve been a nurse for 5 years and worked in long term care for 4 years. I’ve worked in PCU for a short while and decided I no longer wanted to do bedside. I tried the OR which was ok but the pay was not good. I’m now at a rehab hospital which is not bad but not what I want to be doing 3 years from now. I thought about getting my NP but do not know what I would do with it honestly! 😊

I know it's hard for many to go back to school for various reasons, but post masters AGACNP certificate? You can work in the ICU, Trauma unit, ER, LTC, as a hospitalist, and many other jobs within the hospital. Plus being an experienced FNP will open many doors. Many hospitals (at least in my area) are phasing out FNP's. Glad to see you back...

You can teach at college, provide consolations.

I had some similar experiences. Much like you, I took it as a sign that it wasn’t meant to be. I also wondered if it could be some opinion I voiced on my social media. However, if an employer is going to ghost me because I express my opinion, I don’t want to work for them. There isn’t anything on my social media that’s inappropriate but we’re living in such a messed up world.

I’m so tired of school supply shopping every year. I love the Alo look but the price, NO SAH!!!! 😂😂😂
